Yakh dar behesht Ingredient:
Rice flour | 1 tablespoon |
Corn starch | 4 tablespoons |
Sugar | 1 cup |
Green Cardamom | 3 pcs |
Rose water | 1.4 glasses |
Milk | Two glasses |
Water | 1 glass |
Instruction:
1. First, pour 4 tablespoons of cornstarch into a pot. Then add one tablespoon of fresh rice flour to the pot.
2. Then I add a glass of water and we start mixing with a hand.
I mix the ingredients so that the starches are completely dissolved in water.
(At this stage, you can beat three cardamoms and throw them into the pot. This step is a matter of taste)
3. Then I add two glasses of milk to the solution. After that, we add one glass of sugar.
4. I put the pot on low heat and start stirring until the ingredients are completely dissolved together. We continue stirring until the consistency of the ingredients is like porridge, and this is the time to add rose water.
5. Add rose water and continue stirring. When we reach the desired consistency, which is a little thicker than porridge, we take the pot off the heat.
6. Take a Pyrex or glass container put nylon on the bottom and pour the dessert on it until the container is full.
7. Smooth the top of the dessert with a spatula and place it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours until the dessert hardens.
8. After this time, when the dessert hardens, we take it out of the container and cut it into the desired pieces.
Yakh dar behesht is ready to serve and we decorate it with gol Mohammadi or pistachio powder.
Notes:
- You can also serve this with sharbate bahar narenj or aragh bahar narenj.
- You can eat it with a few scoops of ice cream.
- You can use honey instead of sugar.
