How to make tokhme sharbati syrup with saffron

Ingredients:

Saffron  1 teaspoon
Sugar  2 glasses
Basil seed  2 tablespoons
Rose water  1/2 glass
Water  2 glasses

Instruction:

1. Soaking basil seedes in syrup

In the first step of how to prepare tokhme sharbati with saffron syrup, pour the basil seeds into a glass. Add a little warm water to it and soak it for 1 hour until its volume doubles.

2. Preparing saffron

At this stage, you should pour the saffron into the grinders and grind it completely. Then pour them into a glass and add some boiling water to it. After the saffron is mixed with boiling water, add an ice cube to it and place a saucer on the glass until the saffron is completely colored.

3. Boil water and sugar

At this stage, you should pour sugar and water into a pot. Then put the pot on the gas with gentle heat. Allow the sugar to slowly dissolve in the water and boil for 30-40 minutes until completely thickened.

4. Add other ingredients 

After the syrup has thickened, in this step you should add saffron to the nectar and mix the ingredients well. Let the syrup boil for another 20 minutes until ready.

5. Making syrup:

After the syrup boils, in the last step you should turn off the gas flame and let the syrup cool down. Then pour 1 tablespoon of saffron sherbat into a glass. If you want, add some ice cubes and fill the rest of the glass with cold water.

6. At the end, add the tokhme sharbati and mix the syrup well. Now you can enjoy this delicious syrup. You can use some freshly chopped mint to decorate it.

To prepare this syrup with basil seeds, you must first boil water and sugar together. Then add saffron. When you want to make bidmeshk syrup, add washed and prepared basil seeds to the syrup base.

After the water and sugar are as thick as you like, add the brewed saffron to the ingredients. Let the syrup color. Then turn off the heat and wait until the syrup loses its temperature and cools down. After the syrup cools down, add bidmeshk juice to the ingredients and stir.

Wait for a while until the seeds come to the surface of the water and remove them.

Change this water several times until the water is clean and there is nothing left on the water. Then, at this stage, we slowly stir the basil seeds and transfer them to another bowl so that the sand and pebbles of the basil seeds remain in the first bowl.
